Mary Dyar, a Minneapolis Public Library employee and administrator
from 1939 – 1976, passed away on February 8th, 2008 at the age of
93. Mary graduated from Carlton College and the U of M Library
School; her entire career was at the Minneapolis Public Library from
which she retired as Associate Director in 1976.
The family has requested that memorials
are given to The Friends of the Minneapolis Public Library. Your gift to this fund will serve as an on-going tribute to
Mary's years of service at the Library to be
enjoyed by library users for many generations to come.
