“The Minneapolis Public
Library system is at a point of transition,”
said Miller. “I’m excited for the
opportunities this consolidation presents to the
Friends of the Minneapolis Public Library.
Over the next two years, we will be focused on
advocacy for more hours and improved service
within all Minneapolis libraries, as well as
increasing our foundation of private financial
support. We also are very excited to create a
closer relationship with the Library
Foundation of Hennepin County for innovative
programming and the creation of joint
initiatives.”
